Woman Kicked by Giraffe Plans on Fighting Ticket

The 24-year-old San Luis Obispo woman who was kicked in the face by a giraffe at Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison over the weekend says she plans to fight the 686-dollar ticket.  Amanda Hall says that she wasn't trying to hurt Wally the giraffe and describes herself as an "animal lover."  The former Cal Poly student was ticketed for harassment of zoo animals after climbing over one fence and nearly getting over a second into the giraffe enclosure when Wally licked her and then kicked her in the face.  Hall is apologizing to the zoo for her behavior and needed ten stitches to close the cut.
