San Luis Obispo police patrol units responded to several assaults on women in the downtown area at around 11:00 a.m. yesterday. The first female was assaulted in the area of 1119 Garden St. She was punched in the face by a white male in his 50’s with white hair, blue eyes, thin build, wearing a red shirt.
A few blocks away officers responded to the report of a second assault on a female pushing a stroller. A white male in his 50’s, thin build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt spit an unknown fluid into the victim’s face and continued walking.
Several possible suspects were stopped in the area but were not identified by the victims.
A third female victim was located during the investigations. She was walking in the 900 block of Monterey carrying an infant child when a white male in his 50’s with grey hair, with a smaller build spit an unknown fluid in her face.
All of these assaults were unprovoked. The suspect is still on the loose.
