Six Suspects Arrested In Connection With SLO Burglaries

After an extensive investigation into a number of residential burglaries in San Luis Obispo, SLOPD Detectives served search warrants in the early morning hours of January 15, at two locations at the 1600 block of Lima and the 11-600 block of Los Osos Valley Road.

As a result, six individuals all from San Luis Obispo were arrested, stolen property including a handgun and jewelry were recovered.  Also located during the investigation was methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

CHP Auto Theft Task Force investigators were then called in to assist in investigating what appears to be a motorcycle “Chop Shop” operation that was discovered at the residence in the 1600 block of Lima. Several motorcycles were located in various stages of disassembly with the Vehicle Identification Numbers removed and are likely stolen.

All suspects were taken to SLO County Jail on various charges.
