A growing number of communities around the state are in danger of running out of water including here on the Central Coast. Morro Bay has announced what it calls "Severe Water Restrictions." Residents are now only allowed to water landscaping twice a week.
The scheduled day for watering depends on street addresses. If you have an Odd number address, you can water only on Tuesday and Saturday. Even numbers can water Wednesday and Sunday. No potable water can be used for cleaning docks, boats, patios, and yards. Using a hose to wash cars is also not allowed. Restaurants in the city limits must also only offer water by request of diners
