Seven Dogs Dead After Tragic Kennel Fire

Seven dogs were killed when a fire broke out early yesterday morning at Thousand Hills Pet Resort in San Luis Obispo.  

The fire occurred in the overnight area of the kennel. It was noticed by a worker who put it out with a garden hose. All owners of the pets except one have been notified. The kennel will remain open.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
