Port San Luis Harbor District Board Member Retires

The Port San Luis Harbor District is in a bit of a transition. Carolyn Moffatt, who served on its board for 24 years, has retired. During her time of service, she helped the district deal with changes in the rules for commercial fishing, restoration of the Port San Luis Lighthouse, and the cleanup of oil in Avila Beach. Last week, Moffatt received letters of commendation from Representative Lois Capps, Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian, and Supervisor Adam Hill.

No word yet on who will be replacing her.
