Police Identify Santa Maria Man As Possible Murder Victim

A man who's body was found inside a U-Haul truck on Tuesday, has been identified by Santa Maria Police.

Police say the man is Anthony Ibarra, 28, of Santa Maria.

On Tuesday morning Ibarra's body was found inside a moving truck in front of a home on Los Padres Road in Orcutt.

Officers believe the victim is tied to a crime that occurred at a house on the corner of Donovan Road and Blosser Road on Monday afternoon in Santa Maria.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection to this case: Ramon Maldonado, 37, Carmen Cardenas, 28, and Pedro Torres, 54, all of Santa Maria. They were booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for conspiracy to commit murder.
