Parole is denied once again for one of the kidnappers in the 1976 Chowchilla bus case. It was the 13th parole hearing for Fred Woods housed at CMC in San Luis Obispo who was one of three men convicted of kidnapping 26 students and their bus driver and holding them in a buried van in a Northern California quarry.
The driver and some of the students were able to escape and get help.
Woods' next parole hearing is in three years. One of his cohorts James Schoenfeld, was paroled earlier this year.
