San Luis Obispo, CA -- A garbage truck hit an embankment and rolled over on Highway 227 near Corbett Canyon Road just before 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The overturned truck was blocking the southbound lane, and the CHP was directing traffic. The truck's driver and a passenger were taken to a local hospital. The CHP says their injuries were not serious.
