Cayucos, CA -- A home in Cayucos sustained $10,000 in damage early yesterday when a fire began on the exterior of the residence and spread to the sub-flooring. The blaze was reported at about 12:30 at a single-family home on Fresno Ave. CalFire and firefighters from Cayucos and Morro Bay responded to put out the blaze, which they had under control at about 2 o’clock. Two occupants in the home were unhurt and were being assisted by the Red Cross. No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
