San Luis Obispo County, CA -- Arroyo Grande City Council meets tonight at 7 o’clock in the City Council Chambers, on East Branch St. They discuss an appointment to fill Planning Commission vacancy; maintenance options and a status report of Elm Street off-leash dog park. The board will also consider approving Children in Motion subcommittee’s recommendations to eliminate city’s subsidy of the summer child-care program.
Grover Beach Planning Commission meets at 6:30 in the City Hall. On the agenda: One-year time extension for permits and plans to develop a 134-room hotel at 950 El Camino Real and a request for a use permit from the Well Foursquare Church to establish a 2,400-square-foot meeting facility within an existing commercial and industrial building on Farroll Road.
Paso Robles Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 at the City Hall/Library Conference Center on Spring St. They’ll discuss a request to construct a new 4,000- square-foot office building and outdoor equipment storage yard on Ardmore Road and acquiring 5 acres of private land within the Salinas River corridor for a pedestrian and bikeway trail.
Pismo Beach Planning Commission will also meet at 6:30 in City Hall. On the agenda is a request for a two-year time extension for a project to move the restroom at Dinosaur Caves Park to Spyglass Park, adjacent to the playground.
San Luis Coastal Unified School District Board of Education meets tonight at 7 o’clock in the Adult School Multipurpose Room on Lizzie St. On the agenda: Expected approval of contract with Eric Prater for superintendent; and transfer of operation of special education classes from the county Office of Education.
San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors meets this morning at 9 in the County Government Center on Monterey St. On the agenda is an appeal by San Luis Obispo County Employees Association of recognition of breakaway unions and the appointment of new members to the Health Commission.
