20-Year-Old Arroyo Grande Woman Killed In Early Morning Car Crash

 Arroyo Grande -- A 20-year-old Arroyo Grande woman died in a car crash early Thursday morning. Alicia Carreras was driving northbound on Stanton Road. According to the CHP, she veered off the road and into a tree at about 3 o’clock in the morning. Two hours later a passing driver saw the collision and called 911. Carreras was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected, but toxicology results are pending.
