Atascadero Changes Sign Policy After Mural Controversy

 Atascadero -- There has been a change in the sign policy in Atascadero. Tuesday the city council voted to keep murals in the same category as signs but waived the 600 dollar fee to apply for them.
A debate over the fee started when a cycle shop on El Camino painted a mural on its building.
