Update: Cause Of SLO Home Fire Found

 San Luis Obispo -- Fire investigators now know what started a house fire last week. At about 8:30 Thursday night San Luis Fire responded to the blaze on Branch Street. They saw flames coming from an outbuilding behind the house and smoke coming from the house’s windows. The blaze started when a soldering iron that was left plugged-in ignited a nearby towel. Damage to the structure was extensive.
