Fires Coming To Morro Bay State Park

 Morro Bay -- Parts of Morro Bay State Park will be ablaze in the coming weeks. The burns are part of the prescribed fire program for vegetation and fuel management. The treatment will reduce dead and downed trees. It will also enhance the health of the native plant communities.
The burns will occur between February 22 and March 31, on days when conditions permit. The fires will be monitored by State Park, CAL FIRE, and the Morro Bay City Fire.
