Congresswoman Lois Capps In SLO Today

 San Luis Obispo -- Congresswoman Lois Capps will be stopping by our neck of her district today to tour San Luis Obispo’s Goodwill business and Career One-Stop Center on Industrial Way. At 11 a.m. today Capps will be discussing federal efforts to assist the unemployed with job training assistance and extended unemployment and healthcare benefits.
Goodwill’s Business and Career One Stop Centers provide training, referrals, career counseling, job listings, and other services to match employers with job seekers. County wide On Stop Centers have helped 3531 people find jobs in the last year. Later this afternoon at 2, Capps will be touring REC Solar on Fiero Lane.
