Man Arrested for Attemped Child Abduction

Arroyo Grande Police received several calls about possible child abduction at about eleven o’clock yesterday morning. The calls claimed that a man was attempting to entice a 17-year-old girl into his van in the area of Elm Street. A parking enforcement officer later noticed the van parked at the Rite Aid on the corner of Oak Park Boulevard and Grand and called for police, who arrested 26-year-old Anjana Priyadasun, Priyadasun has been booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on $25,000 bail.
