Another man has entered the race for San Luis Obispo County Sheriff. According to The Tribune, former Pismo Beach Police Chief Joe Cortez has formally announced his candidacy. Other hopeful contenders include Ben Hall, Mark Adams, Kevin Faircourt, Jerry Lenthall, Ian Parkinson and Michael Teixeira.
