Reactor at Diablo Canyon is Now Fully Functional

Unit 2 at Diablo Canyon is back up and running. A transformer’s fuse was blown Tuesday afternoon at the power plant. Unit 1 was working at full power, while Unit 2 was out of commission. Plant workers made repairs and tested the system before bringing it back online. According to PG&E, the shutdown did not pose any threat or hazard and continues to assure you that the plant remains in a safe condition.
