Body of Diver Found in Surf Has Been Identified

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Coroners are looking into the death of a man found in the waters of the Cambria coastline. Just before two o’clock in the afternoon, several emergency agencies responded to report of an overturned kayak in the surf. When they arrived they found the body of a 28-year-old Jesse Jacob King floating in the water. He was moved to the Moonstone Bridge area where he was pronounced dead. The Tribune reports that investigators determined that King was free diving alone when he probably got stuck under a bed of kelp and drowned. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
