Woods and Animal Services Join Forces

Two local organizations have decided to join their efforts to help pet overpopulation. Woods Humane Society and the San Luis Obispo County Animal Services Division are working together to make sure all the pets that go through their program are spayed or neutered. Without this program, animal adopters would have to foot the bill for the pricey surgery.

Also, just a few tips for pet owners to remember during this upcoming holiday weekend… Don’t take your pets to fireworks displays! It’ll just agitate your animal and stress out other people’s pets. Make sure you keep your pets in a safe, indoor location just in case they get frightened by loud noises. And if your furry friend goes missing in all the excitement, contact Animal Services at 781-4400 to file a missing pet report.
