San Luis Obispo Man Arrested for Alcohol Related Hit and Run Collision

A San Luis Obispo man was put in jail after a hit and run collision. Sunday night, just before midnight, Nicolas Kovac allegedly rammed into parked car, forcing it into a business near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Broad Street. Kovac fled the scene. A taxi driver who saw the whole thing called 911 and informed law enforcement on the suspect’s location. Kovac was booked into county jail for driving under the influence. His bail was set at $7,000.
