CalFire Extinguishes Two Fires Over the Weekend
|
CalFire battled two small brush fires over the weekend. On Friday night, firefighters worked against a wind driven blaze that was sparked in some dense brush near Bonita Place and Benedict Street in San Miguel. It took about two hours for them to contain the fire which ended up burning about two acres of land. No injuries were reported nor were any buildings damaged.
The second fire was on some private property on Arbor Road in Paso Robles. Firefighters were able to contain that fire just 15 minutes after it started on Saturday night, burning one-quarter acre. Fire crews were able to save the one structure that was threatened by the flames. The cause of both fires is under investigation.
