San Diego Man Busted for Robbing Local Doughnut Shop

Police arrested a San Diego man on suspicion of robbing a doughnut shop in Pismo Beach. Around 11:15 Sunday morning, Darrion Julian Barnes allegedly handed over a note to the 17-year-old cashier saying that if he didn’t hand over the money, he’d be shot. Barnes took an undisclosed amount of cash and a soda before running from the scene. The cashier positively identified Barnes after police picked him up at the Best Western Casa Grande Inn in Arroyo Grande.
