Oakland Attorney Continues to Investigate County Scandal

Here’s the latest on Assistant San Luis Obispo County Administrative Officer Gail Wilcox. According to the Tribune, she is still on paid administrative leave, which she has been on since May 11. She has received nearly $17,000 while on leave. She also continues to get regular benefits including health, and vacation. To top it off, her cell phone bill is paid for. The County Board of Supervisors is also paying an Oakland attorney to investigate Wilcox. Wilcox has filed a sexual harassment suit against her former boss David Edge, who was put on leave, then fired.
