Grover Police Officers Now Equiped with Tasers

Funded by a private donation, a local Police Department has started a new system to subdue suspects. A Grover Beach resident donated $10,000 to the Grover Beach Police Department for its new TASER program. With the contribution and existing department funds, the department was able to buy six tasers, a holster and training materials for each officer. The donator’s name was not released.
