Food Bank Stilling Counting Donations

The local Food Bank is still counting donations from their One Dollar, One Day campaign. The San Luis Obispo County Food Bank determined that if everyone in the county gave just one dollar, once a year, that money would be able to fund the food bank for the entire 12 months. June 2 was deemed Hunger Awareness Day and since that time, the Food Bank has raised $110,000, just $10,000 short of what was raised last year. Donations are slowly trickling in.
