Local Hospital Earns Two Awards from American Heart Association

The American Heart Association has recognized Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with two “Gold Performance Achievement Awards.” Sierra Vista earned the awards for their treatment of patients suffering from Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure. Both awards recognize the hospital’s commitment and success in caring for patients which has improved treatment. According to the American Heart Association, about 865,000 people suffer a heart attack each year.
