Bomb Scare in Paso Robles
|
|
A man turned in a possible explosive material to the Paso Robles Police Department yesterday afternoon. Around five o’clock, the man called the police from the 700 block of Tanner Drive, in Paso, and according to police, he had an unknown substance that he thought was a plastic explosive material. After a short investigation by Paso Police officers, the substance was not identified as an explosive, nor did it appear to be rigged to detonate. The SLO County Bomb Task Force was able to take the substance to a less populated area where they confirmed the Paso PD’s assessment. The Bomb Squad took the substance for further analysis.
