Buellton Bank Robbery Suspect Caught

The man police believe to be responsible for a bank robbery in Buellton is now behind bars. Around 12:30 yesterday afternoon, a man walked into the Rabobank on Highway 246 and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over cash, and the robber fled the scene. Just eight hours later, Sheriff’s Detectives found a man in Ventura matching the suspect’s description. Police arrested 42-year-old Steven Lawrence Morris outside of his apartment. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for armed robbery.
