Santa Maria Mall Says "No" to Forever 21

The company that owns the Santa Maria mall is objecting to Forever 21’s bid to replace Gottschalk’s. While they do not object to Forever 21, they don’t want it filling the Gottschalk’s space because Forever 21 typically appeals to a small demographic, when compared to the Gottschalk’. The owners have offered Forever 21 an alternate space in the mall.
