Man Arrested for Numerous Charges During Shoulder Tap Operation

One man has been arrested for giving alcohol to a minor. 29 year old Eric McCutcheon Palmer was caught by Deputies from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Special Problems Unit buying alcohol to a minor. The Sheriff’s Department has been working with the Alcoholic Beverage Control to help enforce age-related drinking laws in the county. In this incident, the minor walked up to the adult and asked for if he or she would buy them alcohol. Palmer was the only one who agreed during the eight attempts. Turns out, Palmer was violating parole. He was arrested for driving under the influence, furnishing alcohol to a minor, parole violation and threatening the minor involved in the shoulder tap operation.
