Police Investigate Possible Alcohol Related Collision



Police are looking into an incident involving a car that hit a pedestrian early Saturday morning. A 56 year old Nipomo man was driving his truck down Willow Road when he hit a man who was walking in the traffic lane. The pedestrian was transported to Arroyo Grande Hospital for treatment of his major injuries. The collision happened during the rain and the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing. The 25 year old Arroyo Grande man admitted to drinking, so police are investigating his state of sobriety at the time of at collision.
