Nipomo, CA -- Nipomo has been the scene of two car fires and several burglaries over the last few days.  Authorities are searching for someone who started car fires on Division Street and Alegre Avenue early Sunday morning.
 
Though nothing appears to have been taken from the burned vehicles, burglaries of cars have taken place in the same area over the past week.  
 
CalFire says that in both vehicle fires, which caused a small amount of damage to each car, the doors were left open. Cal Fire officials are urging locals to lock their vehicles.
