San Luis Obispo, CA -- Eleven people got stuck in an elevator last night at the Palm Street parking structure in downtown San Luis Obispo.

The San Luis Obispo Fire Department says the elevator malfunctioned around 7 p.m. and was out of service for about 45 minutes until firefighters and an elevator repairman were able to rescue them.

No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the malfunction is being looked into.
