Shandon, CA -- County/Cal Fire reports that firefighters extinguished a four-acre brush fire Sunday afternoon along McMillan Canyon Road in the Shandon area north of Highway 41.

The agency reported the fire near the north San Luis Obispo County community about 5:15 p.m. fire officials reported the blaze under control about 5:45.
