Arroyo Grande, CA -- Two Arroyo Grande policemen saved a distraught girl who tried to jump off the Bridge Street Bridge over Arroyo Grande creek.
About 1:35 Thursday morning, police were called to the scene where a counselor was trying to talk the girl out of jumping. She had one leg over the bridge. She then put her other leg over, and started to push away when the two officers grabbed her and prevented her from falling.
She was taken to county mental health services for evaluation.
