Shopping Spree Continues For Thieves

San Luis Obispo, CA -- San Luis Obispo police are still looking for a couple who stole a wallet from a Costco shopper January 7 and used her credit and debit cards to make a series of fraudulent purchases at Target and the Apple Store to the tune of 46 hundred dollars.

The couple stole the customer’s wallet from her purse, which was sitting in her shopping cart.  Target’s security cameras videotaped the two suspects when they were in the store and exiting with their fraudulent purchases. They are described as a woman 30 to 35 years of age, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds and a man about the same age standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Police are asking for help in identifying the suspects. Police say there have been several similar cases in the past two years.

Police remind people to not leave personal items unattended in shopping carts. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to call 781-7317.
