San Miguel, CA -- San Luis Obispo Sheriff's North station deputies arrested a San Miguel man on Wednesday evening after he reportedly slashed a neighbor twice with a kitchen knife. The two men had been arguing over personal issues for some time.

21-year-old Felipe Martinez entered the victim’s mobile home at Casa Blanca Mobile Home Park, 560 12th Street, in San Miguel just before 9:00 p.m., and an argument ensued with the victim being slashed on the back and arm. Martinez then fled the area.

Deputies found the knife nearby and later located Martinez who was taken into custody without incident and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
