Morro Bay, CA -- Paul Brown, former SLO City councilman and owner of Mother’s Tavern, is missing a couple of firearms. He reported them missing last week, prompting an investigation by the Morro Bay Police Department, where he is training to be a police officer. Brown told authorities the guns were stolen from his vehicle parked outside his home.

Morro Bay police investigators are conducting an investigation to see if Brown violated departmental procedure and policy.
