Paso Robles, CA -- On December 20 at approximately 10:45 at night, the Paso Robles Police Department received a call of shots fired in the area of 14th and Spring Street. Officers arrived and were not able to locate any suspects, injured people, or damaged property. The person reporting the incident thought they heard approximately four gunshots and witnessed what they believe was a green Honda Civic leaving the area at a high rate of speed with its headlights turned off.
Approximately 2 hours later, Paso Police received a call of shots fired into a residence in the 600 block of 15th Street. Officers arrived and discovered a house and vehicle had been struck numerous times by bullets. It appears only one residence and the associated vehicle was targeted, with several nearby residents hearing what they believe to have been between 5 to 8 shots fired. The residents in the targeted house were not harmed and no suspects or vehicles were seen leaving the area. The cause of the shooting is still under investigation and it is not known if it is gang related.
