Paso Robles, CA -- The Paso Robles Fire Department has released more details about a crash near Paso Robles High School yesterday morning. According to department Battalion Chief Kevin Taylor, a Chrysler minivan rear-ended an SUV, and a fire erupted in the engine compartment of the Chrysler. Fire department officials responded to the scene and put out the fire. The fire didn’t spread beyond the van. A 50-year-old woman and a 9-year-old boy in the minivan were taken to Twins Cities Hospital. A 32-year-old woman driving the SUV wasn’t hurt.
