Atascadero, CA -- More assaults are coming to light at the Atascadero State Hospital. It’s being reported that two separate incidents of patient assaults have occurred in recent days. On November 3, two nursing employees were attacked by a patient. They were treated at the hospital and have returned to work. The second incident happened the same day.

Another nursing employee was assaulted by a patient. A hospital police officer was attacked by the same patient. Both of those employees returned to work after the struggle. No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing. No motive or cause for either attack has been made pubic. ASH is a state hospital that treats the mentally ill.
