San Luis Obispo, CA -- The San Luis Obispo City Council has approved the Garden Street Terraces project. Developers were given the go ahead at a long council meeting Tuesday night. The vote was 4-1. The project will include 135 thousand square feet of a hotel commercial and other residential property. Several people in community voiced their concerns about the proposed project basically over color and design. The project has been in the works for the last eight years. It will sit on 1.1 acres downtown bordered by Broad Street, Garden Alley and Garden and Marsh Streets.
