Arroyo Grande, CA -- A male driver of a pickup truck ended up in Arroyo Grande Community Hospital yesterday morning after a solo-vehicle crash in Grover Beach. Police responded to the report of a crash at 11:33 a.m. in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue. Police investigators say the man had apparently driven his 1994 Toyota truck over the center island, hit the concrete pillar of a privately owned street lamp, struck a sign and then hit a parked car before stopping in a parking lot. No one was in the parked car at the time, and no other injuries were reported. Police don’t believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
