Santa Barbara, CA -- Authorities in Santa Barbara are announcing the arrest of a 49-year-old Solvang man accused of tossing out burning object for his car window as he drove near the near Nojoqui Grade. Warren Berry was arrested last Saturday for felony arson and misdemeanor throwing a lighted substance from a vehicle. His bail is set at 75-thousand-dollars. A witness reported seeing Berry stopped along Highway 101 near the Nojoqui Grade when a burning object came flying out of the passenger side window. Sheriff's deputy later spotted Berry near at El Capitan State Beach exit. He was arrested a short time after.
