Reward Offered For Info Related To Man's Death



San Luis Obispo, CA -- A reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for any information leading to the arrest or conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of 63-year-old Charles Lavenson. Lavenson’s body was discovered early Sunday evening at the base of Cerro San Luis, commonly called Madonna Mountain, near Lincoln and Mountain View streets. According to the Tribune, Investigators believe Lavenson was murdered, and that robbery may have been the motive for the killing.

This Sunday the 30th, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM San Luis Obispo Police Detectives will be conducting an operation on the Lemon Grove Loop Trail.  Investigators want to talk with anyone who would have been on the trail on October 23, 2011 prior to and during the time Mr. Laverson would have been on the trail.
