Oceano, CA -- CHP investigators say a 53-year-old woman was struck by a car Friday night in Oceano and died. The unnamed woman walked into traffic along the west side of Highway 1 near 17th Street just after 8:30 p.m. Friday evening. She was taken to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and then Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for surgery. She died of her injuries Saturday.
