Templeton, CA -- The Templeton man accused of committing child sex crimes is due in court this morning for a pretrial hearing. Donald Baker was arrested in October last year. He was originally charged with eight counts of felony sex crimes, including lewd acts with a child under the age of 14. Then, this past June, he was charged with three new counts of felony sex crimes for reportedly committing lewd acts with a second victim. Baker has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His trial is expected to begin late next month in San Luis Obispo. At the time of his arrest, Baker was the Critical Care Unit director at Twin Cities Hospital.
