San Luis Obispo, CA -- San Luis Obispo Fire Department Engine 3 responded to a 911 call of a "man down" at the corner of Pepper and Johnson on Saturday. When they arrived, fire department paramedics found a 19 year-old man in cardiac arrest. They were able to use multiple life-saving procedures, like a defibrillator to shock the man's heart. They say he regained a pulse, and started breathing on his own while en route to French Medical Center.

The fire department says they were assisted by San Luis Ambulance. There is currently no report on the victim’s condition.
